The Beta Edition is the first set of Sorcery available worldwide. It includes over 400 cards, including four new Elemental Avatars, and features the core cards from the Kickstarter exclusive Alpha edition, with some art and text adjustments for improved rule clarity. The Elemental box is the ideal gateway to discover Sorcery: Contested Realm. It includes four preconstructed decks, each dedicated to one of the four fundamental elements: Air, Earth, Fire, and Water. Each deck is led by a powerful Avatar, which defines its unique playstyle and strategies.
Each player uses two distinct decks:
- an Atlas, composed of sites that generate the necessary resources,
- a spellbook, containing the spells, creatures, and artifacts played during the game.
Clashes take place on a grid of 20 shared zones, where positioning, terrain control, and unit movement are essential for victory.
